Interested in the owner of Countryside Cabinetry and wonder what
kind of life he lives? What motivates him and how does he spend
his free time? In other words, what makes him "tick"? Today, we
are going to dig into his life and get behind the scenes of who
Ervin Helmuth really is when nobody is watching.

There is
nothing that Ervin enjoys more that spending quality time
with is lovely wife and growing family!
With heartfelt joy
each child is warmly welcomed into the Helmuth family. Each
child is received as a special treasure with which God has
blessed them. By God's grace they endeavor to train their
precious children for the honor and glory of God. However,
that will take a tremendous amount of love, respect, and
devotion, to God and to each other. A tremendous
amount of time is needed to build strong relationships,
which includes, working, playing, singing and worshiping God
together. Every day they have a special time of seeking God
together as a family. At bedtime the children are safely
tucked in by their parents and prayed over. (if the prayer
is forgotten due to unexpected circumstances- the children
will be calling from their bedrooms to remind their
parents.) |

Below are some pictures that show the everyday life of
the family |

Life at
the Helmuth home is never boring! Simply step into
recreation room and find a Blitz game in full swing led
by Ervin and his wife Dorcas. Eager children surround
the table determined to win the game but usually Dorcas
comes out as the winner! |

To the right a proud father shows his little son his new
little brother while the rest look on.
Below,
Marilyn, proudly holds her new little brother. He will
mean extra work, but to her it's worth it! |

Enjoying a
day at the zoo with their parents is a special treat!
Ervin poses above with the children while his wife takes
the picture.

Ervin usually enjoys working with woodworking, but there
are times when he is needed in the office. |

Raising a
Godly family brings certain responsibilities. One of
them is to provide for them financially. One of the ways
he has chosen to do that is to distribute solid hardwood
furniture across the United States and abroad. Kitchen
cabinetry is also a specialty that he enjoys working
with. Below Ervin busily installs a kitchen cabinet |
 |
| |
In
order to build relationships - and give his wife a
lift, Ervin will often be found in the office, on
the job site, or simply going for a drive with his
children. There's nothing like time to build
relationships!
But
when it comes to time with his beautiful wife - it's
got to be special! And there's nothing better than a
quiet time in the mountains alone in a log cabin! |
|
 |
|
Hard
work never hurt anybody and Ervin leads out by example.
Never afraid to get his hands dirty he'll roll up his
sleeves and dig in. He believes in
the saying, "What's worth doing, is worth doing
right!" Whether it's in his work or moral
ethics he expects and requires his children to follow in
his footsteps.
"Do everything as unto the Lord!"
And when you work for Christ you don't do anything in a
haphazard way! |

they together prepare the ground for seeding. This
is their own "special park" - right beside their
home. They work together in eager
anticipation for the day when everything turns green
and they can set out a picnic table and grill,
enjoying each other's company and the great
outdoors! |

Born and
raised in Michigan, Ervin grew up in the old order Amish
setting. For years he helped his father and brothers on the
farm and went to a one room Amish school with his 12
brothers and sisters. At the age of 19 he met his future
wife. After dating a couple years they were united in Holy
Matrimony in an Amish House. (The Amish do not have church
houses. All social events and ceremonies are performed in
the local Amish homes.) |

At the age of 15 he had made a
commitment to Christ and was following Him to the best of his
ability, however as time went on he sense God leading him ever
onward and upward. None of his good works and all his religion
would never secure him a place in heaven. If he hoped to attain
eternal salvation it would only be by the blood of Jesus Christ!
After much prayer and with much
trepidation he decided to step out in faith and put his full
confidence in Christ - Who is able to keep him from falling,
using the Bible as his standard instead of a religion.
Although he has left the Amish
culture, he loves the Amish people and their lifestyle! They
taught him good work ethics and a love for God and for his
fellow man. |
