We found Countryside Cabinetry on the
web. We had ordered Amish solid wood furniture - a king-size bed and
dresser - before while living in Indiana and thoroughly enjoy them.
Although we had never ordered Amish-made furniture on-line before, our
previous experience with such furniture made us willing to go ahead and
try it out. Especially as we'd found it difficult to find affordable
solid wood furniture in our area. Even those that offered "solid wood"
bookcases, for example, usually used veneers along with the "solid
wood."
We ordered a buffet/hutch, dining
room table and chairs, and a small bookcase. We had custom
specifications for several of the pieces, and Countryside Cabinetry
listened willingly and adjusted the items accordingly, while noting any
cautions that should be considered. We recently received all three
pieces and are delightfully impressed with each one. Each piece is
incredibly solid and well made, and the craftsmanship is impeccable.
Expect some minor delays if asking for adjustments in the offered
furniture (e.g., we were told that faxes were only received by the Amish
craftsmen in question on Mon., Wed., and Fridays), which is reasonable,
considering their way of life. Esther, the liaison between the customer
and the Amish community, was professional, returned our calls quickly,
and was knowledgeable about products (including when to defer to the
wood smiths in question). We are getting ready to submit our next order
for Countryside Cabinetry and highly recommend their work.

What can I
say, I was attracted by their ad, but leery of buying furniture over
the Internet. I was shocked by not only the promptness of their
service, but also upon receipt the quality of packing, the attention to
detail, and finally the quality of the furniture. I will buy again in
the near future, and I will not worry about anything—they do it all.

I discovered Countryside
Cabinetry in 2003 while searching for a source for quartersawn white oak
dining chairs to match the Mission-style table I was building.
Countryside ended up exceeding my expectations in every facet of the
purchase. The chairs arrived on a custom pallet encased in several
layers of packing material. After generating a mountain of bubble wrap
and giving each chair a detailed inspection, I was unable to find even
the slightest flaw, scratch or ding. The construction quality and wood
grain are excellent. The chairs continue to feel rock-solid.
Countryside also went above-and-beyond in terms of customer service,
obtaining for me the source and description of the stain used on the
chairs, so that I was able to purchase the same stain and finish my
table so it matched perfectly. Our dining room is now the showcase of
our house and both my wife and I are extremely pleased. |

My table and chairs were delivered
today. They are absolutely beautiful. I am so pleased with the
workmanship and quality. I also appreciate your keeping me informed of
the progress and shipping schedule. The time table you set for
construction was met ahead of schedule and the shipping schedule was as
promised. I had looked for several months to find a small table with
drop leaves, as well as being able to add several leaves, to accommodate
my family. This table fulfilled that need. I debated on whether or not
to place an order online so I called and all my questioned were
answered. It has been a wonderful experience and I would not hesitate to
recommend Countryside Cabinetry to anyone looking for quality
handcrafted furniture. The price, even including shipping, was less than

Our natural cherry dining room table
and chairs, along with the matching barstools, arrived the other day and
they are beautiful! I am particularly impressed with the barstools.
They are so solid and sturdy. The packing was superb. Three different
carriers handled our furniture as it made its way across the country and
it arrived in perfect condition. I was a little nervous about ordering
furniture on-line, sight unseen. However, everything about the
furniture exceeded by expectations and I would definitely order from

ordered my bedroom furniture and recently received it and wanted to let
you know that it exceeded my expectations. I am thrilled with the
quality and the timeliness of my order. Everyone who sees it absolutely
loves it! I got the bookcase bed and chose to have it made with the
raised panel footboard instead of the footboard that came with it. I am
sending a photo so that you can see how good it looks with the raised
panel footboard. You may want to consider offering it this way because
the footboard really looks beautiful with the raised panels on the
headboard. I will certainly be ordering from Countryside again in the

We just had to tell you how much we admire and appreciate the
craftsmanship of this heirloom table. We have many nice pieces of
furniture, but this table Countryside Cabinetry made for us is truly one
of the best. My husband can't say enough about how well it is made.
Jerry is familiar with woodworking and knows what to look for, whereas I
just see the finished product. We hope to have another piece made by you
in the future and will refer you to everyone we know who is looking for

We received our pedestal drop
leaf kitchen table and kitchen bow side chairs today, and we couldn't be
more pleased. The construction and the finish (ours is oak) are of top
quality, and the chairs are more comfortable than what you would expect
from kitchen chairs. The furniture was so well protected during shipment
that it could have fallen off the truck on the highway without damage.
As a bonus, the deliveryman was most helpful. Before getting the set,
we used the sample chips to experiment by applying some stuff which had
marred the finish of some of our older furniture; there was no damage
to the Countryside finish. So thank you for providing such a quality
product. We look forward to many years of enjoyment from it. |

furniture! It's wonderful and beautiful, the quality, the looks, the
delivery, everything is great. It's all what we have dreamt of for
years. The furniture has a soul. It starts with the beautiful wood and

Just wanted to tell you I received the replacement rail. I replaced the
defective one and everything is now perfect!
Nobody in the neighborhood can believe the quality and workmanship of
the furniture. One neighbor suggested that we did our shopping on Mars
because furniture of this quality cannot be found here on earth.
One neighbor tried to lift one chair and could not believe how heavy it
was. "Real wood is heavy," I told him. No particle board here. Of
course, the highlight is my desk. People were actually taking turns to
lift and lower the tambour!

Just a note to let you know
that our 5 side chairs arrived yesterday. The packaging was perfect
with not a thing out of place, and no damage. Pack Ship USA really
knows what they are doing when it comes to packing. Vitran, the
regional shipper, did a good job, and their driver was helpful with the
uncrating. The chairs are beautiful. We are very pleased with them,
and the quality really shines through. Your stain samples are right on
target. The color we selected matches our other pieces exactly. We
will not hesitate to recommend your company if we know of others who
would like to order similar quality furniture. |
