This sleigh bed is constructed out of solid hardwood, by the Amish, and finished with a catalyst finish to ensure beauty and longevity! The gently curved slats in this sleigh bed reminds one of the flow of water. Hence the name "River Sleigh Bed".

Not only does the sleigh bed come in solid wood, the slats are securely fastened on to the side rails by small dowels protruding from the sleigh bed's rails.

All the king size beds, as well as the queen size beds come with a center leg for additional mattress support
