The Amish have carefully constructed the
Vintage mission bed, (picture above) with mortise and tenon
joinery. The slats are then securely anchored to the side rails
by dowels to ensure even more stability! |
This lovely "Old English Mission" bedroom suite is constructed
out of Quartersawn White Oak, but is also available in Oak or
cherry.
The Chest of Drawers shown on the right, comes with 5 drawers
and 1 door hiding an adjustable shelf. Each chest of drawers is
constructed out of solid wood! There is not a piece of particle
board or veneer in this piece of furniture! Each drawer in this
chest of drawers is dovetailed and comes with 3/4 extension &
heavy duty slides. |
